Synopsis

Because of this, Project Legacy was extended to a series of annual expeditions with the goal of creating a permanent base of operations on the island. In the 2017 film Kong: Skull Island, Kong is scaled to be 104 feet (31.7m) tall, [53] making it the second largest and largest American incarnation in the series until the 2021 film Godzilla vs. Kong, in which he became the largest incarnation in the series, standing at 337 feet (102.7m). In the novel, the character Carl Denham is only ever referred to as "Denham" or "Mr. Denham;" his first name is never revealed. Most notably, the novelization features the infamous lost spider pit scene, which features the Octopus-insect and huge spider, who do not appear in the film. He travelled around South Africa reporting on the action and his dispatches acquired a significant following in Britain.

Movie / TV Show Adaptation

Filk Music artists Ookla the Mok's "Song of Kong", which explores the reasons why King Kong and Godzilla should not be roommates, appears on their 2001 album Smell No Evil.
