All of Marvel's November 2022 comics and covers revealed on Newsarama (archived from the original on August 18, 2022)

The fallout follows as Vader is tasked with finding the cage before it can be solved. The Knights of Ren meanwhile are understandably not too keen to continue being science lab guinea pigs. They leave of their own volition. Exclusive First Details on Star Wars: Crimson Reign - A New Comic Series Focused on Solo's Qi'ra by Bankhurst, Adam on IGN ( August 18, 2021) (archived from the original on August 18, 2021) in the Force caused by the artifact serves as a beacon to Qi'ra's enemies, and Crimson Dawn cannot hide forever…. The grand finale has finally come. It’s been a long journey through this trilogy of comic arcs spearheaded by the great Charles Soule, but with Hidden Empire #5, we have an epic conclusion. There is really only one Jedi who would know Qi’ra (that we know of) and he has a sister that he trains as a Jedi after the fall of the Empire.Next the Archivist talks about how Qi’ra got her mission to destroy the Sith from her master and former Spider-Man, X-Men, Avengers, and all of Marvel's April 2023 comics and covers revealed on Newsarama (archived from the original on January 19, 2023) The Sith pureblood, Darth Oscopos, head of the Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy, was one of the rare Dark Councillors that the Emperor considered both useful and his favourites. Rising to power after her master got himself killed by falling from a balcony during the celebrations of the founding of Kaas City. After that incident, many Sith Lords decided that alcohol and high places did not mix very well if they wanted to remain alive. If you are familiar with Aphra, you will know she has some history with Lord Vader. Wielding the Null Blade ( another Ascendent creation with the capability to temporarily neutralize the effects of a lightsaber), she engages Vader in a duel while Palpatine goes further to investigate the growing presence emanating from the Fermata Cage. As the mastermind behind Qi’ra’s return, telling this story has been surprisingly personal for Soule. Reflecting on the experience, he’s both appreciative and excited. “This whole storyline's been a gift, honestly,” he says. “It's given me a chance to write some deeply resonant stories that connect with the particular moment in the Star Wars timeline in which they are set, as well as prominent characters across the galaxy. It's been a very rich experience for me as a writer, and I'll be sad to say goodbye to Crimson Dawn, Qi'ra, and the rest of this corner of Star Wars once I'm done. This kind of story doesn't come around that often, and I'm glad I've been able to build it alongside Steven Cummings, Luke Ross, and the other amazing writers and artists working in Star Wars right now. I think the fans are in for a treat.”

Hidden Empire #5 is a mostly satisfying ending to Qi’ra’s story. She successfully outsmarts Palpatine and Vader and could’ve defeated them once and for all if it wasn’t for the Knights of Ren’s foolish actions. This is the best way of respecting Qi’ra’s formidable character and all her scheming without undermining or contradicting other canon stories. Qi'ra escaped aboard Chanath Cha's ship yet urgently needs the Archivist to complete her work. The disturbance All of the various threads and characters from these comics–Qi’ra, the Archivist, the hooded figures listening to the story, Palaptine and Vader, the Fermata Cage, the Knights of Ren, Cadeliah, etc.–all come together in cohesive and rewarding fashion. sealed away an ancient Sith Lord suspended in time. Qi'ra tasked the Archivist with freeing this Sith to serve as a weapon against the Emperor. The mysterious syndicate CRIMSON DAWN and its leader LADY QI’RA have become the galaxy’s most wanted criminals, as EMPEROR PALPATINE realizes the scope of Qi’ra’s plans against him and moves to destroy her.

As Crimson Dawn suffers Palpatine’s wrath, both parties regroup.

Inquisitor Jorel reported that the Dark Side of the Force holds a strong influence within the nebula, and that the largest concentration of Force energy is on Earth itself. But she mentioned that the level of the influence was not normal. As if it had grown due to an outside force." STAR WARS: DOCTOR APHRA 20 on Penguin Random House Comics (archived from the original on April 22, 2022) The issue starts similar to how Star Wars Crimson Reign started with Madelin Sun aka The Archivist telling Qi’ra’s story via hologram. I assume she ends up dying and this was her recording the events for the history archives before the end so that the story would live on. Similar to a Jedi or Sith recording events and teaching in a holocron before becoming one with the force. With yet another test failed, the Archivist, abandoned by a terrified Farrus, decided that the best course of action would be to take the Cage to a place that would be both full of dark side energy and rich in life. She concluded that the Amaxine space station would be the best candidate, being rich in Drengir plants that could channel the dark side and would make for the perfect "nourishment" for the cage. After she arrived and set up her equipment, she activated the matrix, resulting in the cage immediately consuming most of the plants in its vicinity and beginning to open. Galactic Emperor Sidious immediately sensed it and arrived to crush her once and for all aboard the Executor along with Darth Vader. This time, however, they were met with Qi'ra's full Crimson fleet who disabled their long range turbolasers, forcing them to land to the planet themselves accompanied by royal guards and death troopers, slaughtering the Dawn fighters and making their way towards the Cage. [12] It was his actions that allowed the Republic to strike at the heart of Sith power, and it was his actions that allowed the Republic to nearly destroy the entire Sith species at the end of the Great Hyperspace War.
