We have used two containers worth of Fusso Dark on a variety of customer vehicles as well as using on our own personal vehicle so have been able to really get to know the product and assess its durability.

Thoroughly clean your wheels with your wheel cleaner of choice, ensuring that all traces of tar and iron fallout are removed.Fusso Coat is a paint sealant in a wax form designed to protect automotive paint. It adds some gloss but there are other waxes that add more gloss. Becuase of the solvent content within the wax, we reccomend waiting atleast 24 hours before applying the second coat. 24 hours should be sufficient to ensure the second coat adheres to the paint properly. To get the most out of any wax, it’s really important to properly prepare the paintwork surface. Give Fusso Coat 5 to 8 minutes of cure time before buffing. If it was hard to buff reduce the time for the next section and use less product. Clay bar inspection: The paint felt really smooth all over. So I decided not to use a clay bar on this occasion. This would save an awful lot of time because clay bars can mar and scratch paint which would then require polishing. This dissolved any bonded iron particles that may have been on the car from manufacturing or transport. There are two variants available, one designed specifically for light coloured cars and one designed speficially for dark coloured cars. Whilst it wouldn’t be a disaster to use the wrong one, it’ll certainly help to match up the correct one for your particular car.
