The MR600 ran faultlessly for over week while I worked from home - video conferences never dropped. The kids can game on both PS4 with voice chat and the Nintendo Switch which is notoriously fussy given the P2P nature of its online service. I watched Solo on Disney+ which it says is 4K and YouTube usually defaults to 720p. Ha, don't forget masts on some networks are being updated to MIMO, so you have multiple transmit antenna and multiple receive antenna. Written an 4T4R for example. The newer handsets have this, e.g. your S10 will certainly support. The "cheaper" design home routers will not have provision for this. The issue really arises because it’s a 4G network and depending on what other users are doing, the weather, capacity/demand plus which way the wind is blowing apparently causes speeds to drastically differ. No provider would be advertising speeds that high - I think what you were seeing were the router specifications not the estimated 4G speeds. Yes, the better tech in my mobile was why I was surprised I got such better bandwidth with the router than my phone.

Very similar. Both achieve maximum of 60 down and 30 up, more typically 30-40 down and 20 up. I would say that the MR600 appears slightly more consistent on speeds, but given all the factors involved I'd say there's no difference.Using LTE H-Monitor really helps with the B535, and it's frustrating that the MR600 doesn't report cell ID. So the question is: just how good is the Huawei B535? And should you buy it or should you look elsewhere for your home broadband needs? Read on to find out. Design I'm working from home at the moment and I'm doing a lot of online training and whilst connected to the LTE network via the huawei, it's a nightmare; failure to resolve, failures handling the TLS handshakes, videos not loading. If I set up my phone as a wifi hotspot, it all seems to work fine. Both devices are set to only use 4G networks. I don't know which LTE Category includes which levels of QAM, but if a device is sold as a certain category it will handle the level of QAM required for that category.

The Three 5G Hub meanwhile has them all massively beat for speed – but again, you need 5G coverage to take advantage of that. It also curiously has fewer ethernet ports (just two), which might be an issue for some. Cat 7 over 6 only affects uplink, and only if your operator supports it on the mast. In Phone terms both are quite old now. Thanks for your reply, so there is nothing I can do or there is nothing wrong with the device? I understand the speeds are theoretical but they're advertised quite largely and I am getting no where near them, whereas I was when I originally installed the device. The Huawei B535 WebBox isn’t much to look at, but that’s not a criticism, as most people don’t want a flashy router.I put my Phone's SIM in the router and experienced the same issues - I had to use a SIM adapter to make the sim up to Micro SIM size. A decent test here would be to use the router's SIM in my phone, but I don't want to cut it down and it's not one of those multi-size cards. I’m really surprised this is so complicated - surely if a cat 6 device cannot do 64QAM then it simply can’t ? Has anyone found another router that’s cat 8 or higher for reasonable price ? Tutustu ominaisuuksiin Avainominaisuudet I've just thrown my ID sim into the router, still working as usual. Its connected to the default apn that still says EE for me.
