This fruity top note is followed by a delicate heart note of different types of rose – from pink centifolia absolute to Bulgarian rose and white peony. Pleasant, fun and girly to the point of being almost juvenile, with moderate projection and longevity. Top notes are Strawberry, Raspberry, Pear, Orange, Tangerine, Calabrian bergamot and Calone; middle notes are Peony, Jasmine Sambac, Chinese Jasmine, Datura and Orange Blossom; base notes are Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Patchouli, White Musk, Vanila, Ambroxan, Moss and Cedar. Nothing gelled, nothing was distinguishing, everything was competing as if resembling a teen grabbing 5 different amazing fragrances and spraying them all at once.

Initially I get the sweet fruity notes that I liked and the patchouli was just enough to give it a little sour kick. This is completely in continuity of the worst recent releases, most of the Lancôme, the last Dior and dozens (hundred)of others. Progresses like you smoked in the backyard of your grandma's, sink-showered in her powder room and finished off with the VS body splash she got you years ago when you teened up.But about twenty minutes in it switches up… I can’t believe something so sweet and yummy turned into such a strong green grass swamp thing! If the opening fruity notes had been the perfume, I think I could have loved this, but unfortunately the top nots all but disappear for a typical flower/powdery/musk scent that you could get anywhere. I think sometimes you just need to wear something totally unpretentious, something that doesn't take life's hardships too seriously, and that makes you feel like the prettiest girl in the room.

I would say this is this perfume is similar in genre, vibe and performance to Lolita Lempicka, but I much prefer LL. It's easy to fall in love with a strong perfume with a lot of character, but those are the ones you can get fed up with in the long run if worn most days.I love this now trying it during colder months instead of a couple of summers ago when I first opened it. I've owned many scents since then, but Mon Paris EDP is the fragrance I've come back to time and time again. YSL is very high quality, both when it comes to the scent and the bottle, but it doesn't really speak to me or invoke any kind of positive emotion. They mention that it lasts well, has a lovely fragrance and is one of the best female perfumes out there.

Candy sweet and synthetic red berries scent with a touch of orange and a very faint flowery-patchouli accord in the background, but predominantly a fruity fragrance. Not very complex and not suitable for the office to me as it doesn't exude elegance or sophistication. Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. This one radiates a few feet away from the body, which is great if you like smelling yourself constantly. The intoxicating white chypre fragrance opens with a mouthwatering flush of red fruits, which meet with a pure and radiant bouquet of white flowers in the heart.
